Player pathways

Pick the question you actually searched — each path opens a full guide.

I just launched the game

Plant the first tree, hire axe throwers, and keep collectors moving before the pile buries the sawmill.

Getting Started

I do not know when to prestige

Read when to cash a run, how prestige points drop, and which of the five shop tiers actually pay rent.

How to Prestige

Mages and Engineers are locked

The full roster is gated. This page maps HQ, Sawmill, wizards, and the later buildings players ask about on Steam.

Unlock Buildings

Manual shots feel weak

Click-drag aiming, tree targets, and clover events only count if you fire them yourself.

Active Abilities

Which building should I feed?

Damage is additive now. Ranking axes, ballistas, and wizards after the demo balance pass.

Buildings Hub

Logs look random

Sixty-four variations, golden logs, acorns, and the 800-log cap that recycles your oldest timber.

Logs and Acorns

The level-up box is noise

Reroll, banish, and rarity bumps matter more than a common axe card after additive damage.

Level-Up Cards

What am I actually playing toward?

There is no last tree. Prestige the shop, mix the plateau, and unlock later portraits.

What Is the Goal
Featured guides
First-hour path

A short route from planting the first tree to a clean prestige.

  1. 1

Open HQ and plant a tree

Spend the starting acorn on the right plateau. Trees only drop logs when projectiles hit them — empty dirt makes no gold.

  2. 2

    Hire axe throwers, then collectors

Build on the left plateau first. Open the Sawmill next so workers haul timber instead of letting the pile stall income.

  3. 3

    Aim at the glowing target

Click and drag from a building to fire a manual shot. Hitting the tree target deals bonus damage and trains your aim for clover events.

  4. 4

Pick level-up cards that match the run

Reroll commons, grab luck and log value when the pile is healthy, and bank prestige points instead of greed-leveling forever.

  5. 5

    Prestige into permanent upgrades

Reset once the next building or card pack stops paying. Spend points on start gold, acorns, pull range, and luck before chasing vanity damage.
